About North Cyprus

There are lots of islands big and small in the Mediterranean. The total area of the north of Cyprus is 3.355 km˛. The nearest seashore neighbor of North Cyprus is Turkey (38 sea miles, or 70 km.) The other neighbors are Turkey, Syria, Israel, Egypt and South Cyprus.

About Near East University

Today, with more than 24 thousand students from 65 different countries, Near East University established in Nicosia, the capital of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, has earned a well-deserved international identity, offering high-standard educational opportunities.

About University of Kyrenia

University of Kyrenia, a sister university of Near East University, as the first university of North Cyprus specializing on maritime studies, was established in 2013, in the city of Kyrenia, one of the most beautiful and historical sites of Cyprus.

Scholarship Criteria

Nigeria study abroad have joined together with Near East University and University of Kyrenia, situated in Northern Cyprus, in order to create transcendent opportunities for students who wish to excel further in education. We’ve come up with a scholarship examination program.

Requirements

Students who are looking forward to apply have to make sure they have their required documents with them, depending on the type of degree they’re seeking. All the documents must be attested by Inter Board Chairman Committee (IBCC) and Higer Education Commission accordingly.

Procedure

Students can apply either by paying a visit to the Nigeria sudy abroad office or through the website online. Only the students who meet the requirements of their desired field of study will be eligible enough to apply for the scholarship program.

Accommodation

There are 12 segregated and 2 gender neutral dormitories on the NEU campus. The dormitory rooms are designed to accommodate single, double, triple and quadruple students. The dormitories are classified as Economic, Standard and Luxury to meet the individual and private needs of the students.
